This device will test the patience of the best of us but with some resolve it produces stunningly beautiful results! For me, a 105mm full frame macro, 0.75 sec exposure, 200msec flash at 1/128 power , ISO 400 and F40, yes, F40 gave the best results with an approx 15” drop height in a dark room. Good luck with yours. It WILL be different….
Valve works great. Takes a little while t get things dialed in, but it's a nice tool.
This item works really well as part of the kit. I am only giving it 4 stars as it really should have a cover for the electronics.
Great tool, really fun, not only for super professionals but also for beginners. Clearly, the maximum is achieved with use. And ... let me say it: very serious company.
I bought this as an after thought when buying the trigger. The videos and images looked great and it was something to do during lockdown.. On the positive side every thing connected and the dropper does what it is supposed to but buy a retort stand and clamp or something to hold the dropper when you buy the dropper. The hardest bit is actual capturing the shot, it’s a long trial and error process so be prepared to be frustrated. Develop a mythological approach adjusting one setting at a time and record the results to keep track of what you are doing. Lastly the droplet videos are bit amateurish and should be replaced with some that are more professional and informative.
Very good if fou want to make some pictures of drops colaps.. you need to clean it very carefully to keep it in "ready and usable condition"
Really efficient to achieve amazing pictures....No protection for electronics parts, but no problems. it works fine. Seems enough strong if used with care....
